Climate resilience stories
Building climate awareness through schools

Schools are powerful spaces for community change. Through our eco schools and biodiversity clubs, Gracious Givers Kenya is working with learners and teachers to promote environmental responsibility, tree planting and practical climate action.
These activities help young people understand the environment around them and take part in protecting it. They also create a bridge between schools, families and the wider community.
So far, 6 schools have been engaged through eco schools and biodiversity clubs. Schools are important spaces for climate learning, environmental action and youth leadership.
