Governance and accountability
Accountability is part of how Gracious Givers works with communities, partners and resources. This page sets out the systems currently in use and identifies the areas we are formalizing as the organization grows.
How accountability is currently managed
Integrity
We work with honesty, accountability and respect.
Responsible resources
Budgeting, expenditure review, financial planning and partner compliance are coordinated through the Finance and Administration function. Financial controls and reporting requirements are reviewed as the organization takes on larger partnerships.
Evidence and learning
We collect feedback, track participation, document field lessons and use evidence to improve program quality.
Safeguarding and dignity
We are strengthening consent, safeguarding and respectful storytelling practices. When children, youth or vulnerable community members are involved, we take extra care in how their images and stories are used.
Systems being formalized
As the organization grows, we are formalizing governance documentation, policy oversight, safeguarding procedures, monitoring standards and reporting processes. Approved documents and accountability information will be published here as they become available.
